CAMILA SAFATLE

Camila lectures Antitrust and Anticorruption Law at the Universidade Católica de Santa Catarina. She is a member of the WIA – Women in Antitrust and sits on the Brazilian Bar Association’ Commission for Competition and Economic Regulation Studies – CECORE, OAB/SC. She is a former General Coordinator of Market Control at the Brazilian Ministry of Justice, Secretariat of Economic Law (now known as CADE). 

Camila has in-depth experience in corporate law and governance, as in the implementation of competition compliance programs, the negotiation and drafting of complex commercial agreements, including in the fields of R&D and innovation.

She represents clients in strategic M&As, corporate restructurings, merger notifications and antitrust cases before the Brazilian antitrust authority – CADE, with strategic planning, focusing on the client’s goals and objectives.
